The Core Subjects EC-6 (291) Texas teacher certification area allows you to teach English, math, science, social studies, music, art, health and physical education at the elementary level, Early Childhood through 6th grade.

To add the ESL certification, you would also take the English as a Second Language/Supplemental (154) test.

Requirement for Admission:

Your college transcripts will be reviewed. A minimum of 24 credit hours (math, science, social studies, and English) are required.
