The Social Studies 4-8 Texas teacher certification area allows you to teach social studies classes, 4th grade through 8th grade.

Requirement for Admission:

Your college transcripts will be reviewed. A minimum of 24 credit hours (History, Government, Geography, Economics or Political Science) are required.
 
If you do not have the necessary credit hours for Social Studies 4-8, you can take the Tx PACT to qualify for the program.
