English Language Arts and Reading 4-8 (217) - Certification

The English Language Arts & Reading 4-8 Texas teacher certification area allows you to teach English classes, 4th grade through 8th grade.

Requirement for Admission:

Your college transcripts will be reviewed. A minimum of 15 credit hours in English are required.

If you do not have the necessary credit hours for ELAR 4-8, you can take the Tx PACT to qualify for the program.
